Winner Takes All Main Event – Vasyl Lomachenko (Ukraine) vs Teofimo Lopez (Honduras)
Vasyl Lomachenko takes on Teofimo Lopez in what is a huge night in Lightweight boxing! The night which will decide who stands on top in the prosperous Lightweight division.
Teofimo Lopez (15-0)
Teofimo “El Brooklyn” Lopez is a Honduran/American Boxer who has held the IBF Lightweight title since 2019 after crushing Richard Commey in the second round on the Terence Crawford undercard, making him one of the youngest world champions today at 23.
He is a flamboyant boxer that came from the Olympic trials who has gathered much experience, making him a mature boxer for his age and one of the best pound-for-pound boxers right now. Lomachenko is not a natural lightweight like Lopez, making Lopez the bigger, younger and faster fighter which gives him a better chance than anyone.
Vasyl Lomachenko (15-1)
Vasyl Lomachenko is one of the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world, having won three world championship titles in three different weight classes after just 12 fights, which is unprecedented in the Boxing scene. “Hi-Tech” is regarded as one of the most talented amateurs to lace up a pair of Boxing gloves with his 396-1 record and winning the Olympic Gold medal twice in Beijing and London.
Once Loma turned professional, he requested to have a world title fight as soon as possible. After his distrusted loss against Salido, he beat Gary Russell Jr. in his third fight and having world title fights ever since! Now he makes history again and becomes one of the few undisputed champions of our era.
Winner Takes All Undercard – Arnold Barboza (USA) vs Alex Saucedo (USA)
Saucedo is back on a winning streak after losing against Maurice Hooker for the WBO light-welterweight title back in 2018. This will be his second fight during quarantine in the MGM Grand arena and will facing another tough challenge in Arnold Barboza who is undefeated after 24 fights. Saucedo would want to put in an astonishing performance so he can put himself in the mix with one of the light-welterweight champions.
Winner Takes All Undercard – Edgar Berlanga (Puerto Rico) vs Lanell Bellows (USA)
Berlanga is a young heavy-hitting super middleweight from Puerto Rico who has all his wins coming by first-round stoppage. Saturday he would want another stoppage against the tough Lanell Bellows, who will give Berlanga a tougher fight than his previous opponents and use his experience to give the young 23-year-old problems.
Giulio’s Betting Tips
Vasyl Lomachenko is undoubtedly the favourite in this undisputed clash. He has a better ring IQ, more experience, more talented, and will use these attributes to his advantage to tire Lopez out in the later rounds. Vasyl Lomachenko to win is 1/3* with Mark Jarvis.
I just do not see Lopez having the experience to surprise Lomachenko, nor has he ever fought an elite fighter like him. Vasyl Lomachenko to Win by KO/TKO/DQ/TD is 21/10* with Mark Jarvis.
The Ukrainian has seen nothing new in the professional game. I still believe that Lomachenko will win the fight by late stoppage between 10-12 rounds, which is 15/2* with Mark Jarvis.
