Borussia Dortmund vs Inter Milan
Who? Borussia Dortmund vs Inter Milan in Group F of Matchweek 4 of the UEFA Champions League 2019/20
Where? Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund
When? 20:00 GMT, Tuesday 5th November 2019
Matchweek 4 of the UEFA Champions League sees European giants Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan go head-to-head at Signal Iduna Park.
Lucien Favre’s side have a big task ahead of them as we enter the latter half of the Group stages. Sat just behind Inter on goal difference, Dortmund need to take advantage of playing at home in front of the iconic home atmosphere. Having only won one in their last five UCL games, the German outfit will look to make a statement in the group and not end up falling into the Europa League. Their league form is solid, as they currently sit 2nd.
The rejuvenated Inter side under Antonio Conte is looking to make statements in both Serie A and the Champions League. After a disappointing 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague in MW1, they have gone on the beat Dortmund and be narrowly defeated by Barcelona. Inter are starting games strongly, with the side taking early leads in the UCL. They are conceding goals late on however, with their last eight UCL away games conceding from 80 minutes or after.
Dortmund (21/20* to Win): Marco Reus and Marcel Schmelzer are questionable because foot and hip injuries, respectively. Favre should have a full squad to choose from otherwise, including the likes of Julian Brandt, Raphael Guerreiro and Thorgan Hazard.
Inter (13/5* to Win): Antonio Conte could be without Alexis Sanchez and Danielo D’Ambrosio ahead of this crucial group stage clash. Another doubt for the game is Ghanaian Kwadwo Asamoah. We expect in-form strike force Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku to start.
Dortmund’s only meeting with Inter was the reverse fixture in this group this season. The Black and Yellow army could not get anything however, losing 2-0 in Milan.
