The DP World Tour Championships are here for it’s 10th successive season, and that means only one thing… the Race to Dubai is right around the corner.

This tournament is part of the three events that are named in the Finals Series of the European Tour. Prior to this tournament, players have played in the Turkish Airlines Open and the Nedbank Golf Challenge as part of the Finals Series. This is the fourth year since the removal of the WGC-HSBC Champions and BMW Masters.

This year, the winner’s prize has been significantly increased to attract more attention to the tournament. The purse remains at $8m; however, the winner will take $3m instead of $1.3m in previous years.
