Inferno Joker – Slot Review

We’ll forgive you if you haven’t yet heard of the Infernal Joker slot. The software house Play n’ Go didn’t release the title until September of this year.

However, if you’re a fan of classic fruit machines and are looking for a slot that replicates this gameplay online, familiarise yourself with this title sooner rather than later.

But what exactly does this slot offer to players, and why should you care? Here’s our breakdown of the game:

Layout and Design – A Simple But Immersive Aesthetic

Whilst the Inferno Joker slot may be a retro game by nature, it boasts a deceptively high quality of graphics that drags fruit machine gameplay kicking and screaming into the digital age.

The game’s gold-trimmed, 5×3 reel grid sits serenely against a vivid purple backdrop. The design of the symbols is stylish and eye-catching (we’ll have a little more on this later).

With the fundamental gameplay, there are fixed five pay lines available through the Inferno Joker slot. It pales in comparison with more complex titles available elsewhere.

However, this high variance slot offers a highly rewarding bonus feature, which contributes to an inflated return-to-player (RTP) rate of 96.38%.

Rules and Symbols – What Do You Need to Know?

Whilst the gameplay on offer here may be relatively simple, you still need to understand the slot’s fundamental rules and the betting range on offer.

When setting your bet level, for example, you can toggle between a coins range of 0.05 and 100. Therefore, creating a minimum stake of £0.05 and a maximum wager of £100 per spin.

If you have a defined betting strategy and want to wager at the same level for a predetermined number of spins, you can also deploy the slot’s ‘Autoplay’ feature at any point during the base game.

As we’ve already touched upon, the slot’s symbols have impeccable designs, whilst paying homage to classic upright fruit machines. The cherry, plum, lemon, and watermelon icons sit at the lower end of the paytable. They pay out at five-times your stake when you land five across the reels.

Landing five of the ‘Red 7’ and ‘Gold Bars’ symbols will apply a 15x multiplier to your stake, whilst the Purple Joker icon will payout at 100-times your stake where they fill one of the game’s pay lines.

The highest paying base game icon remains the crucial Scatter Joker. It pays 500x your stake when you land five on a payline.

Payouts and Features – What’s in the Inferno Joker Bonus Round?

In the absence of any wild symbol, the Scatter Joker remains the single most important icon in the game.

Not only is this the highest-paying symbol, but landing a single scatter on reel three will trigger the Infernal Joker Re-spins feature. This is the slot’s primary bonus, with this reel remaining in place. The others re-spin to create potentially lucrative winning combinations.

All Joker symbols then transform into Inferno Joker icons. If any of these subsequently land on another reel this will also lock in place whilst it grants another free spin.

This will gradually increase the size and frequency of your wins. The bonus round continues until no more scatters appear on the reels.

Make no mistake; The cash prizes on offer here can be significant. Landing three, four or five scatters in a single combination will reward you with multipliers of 25, 75 and 500-times your stake, respectively.

If you’re able to achieve the Holy Grail by filling all of the reels with Infernal Jokers, you’ll earn a prize that’s worth a whopping 2,500-times your stake!
