Anthony Smith (USA) vs Glover Teixeira (BRA)

This light-heavyweight bout would have gone ahead late last month, but now headlines this Fight Night event on Wednesday night. Both fighters are chasing a chance at a title fight, with Anthony Smith at 5 and Glover Teixeira at 8 in the rankings.

Either side of a title fight defeat to Jon Jones by decision in March 2019, Smith won by submission against Alexander Gustafsson and Volkan Oezdemir. His other two wins since debuting in the Light Heavyweight Division have come by first round KOs against Rashad Evans and Mauricio Rua. However, it has been nearly a year since his last UFC bout. He is the favourite to take one step closer to another title shot at 8/15* with Mark Jarvis.

Veteran Teixeira is still showing at 40 that he is one of the best in the division. The Brazilian is on a three-fight winning streak and with no fans in the arena, could level the playing field in Teixeira’s favour. He will need to put in a convincing performance after squeezing through his last bout against Nikita Krylov by a split decision. His ground work could be key to secure an impressive win and make it four-in-a-row at 6/4* with Mark Jarvis.

Fight Winner tip – Smith 8/15*

Alexander Hernandez (USA) vs Drew Dober (USA)

A hugely important bout for these two lightweight fighters, who are looking to climb the stacked lightweight division. Alexander Hernandez holds the potential, whilst Drew Dober holds the experience. Can either of these fighters display a breakout performance in Florida?

Hernandez received a humbling second round TKO from Donald Cerrone at the start of 2019 after a promising start to his UFC career. The Texan native bounced back however, with a unanimous decision victory over Francisco Trinaldo in July last year. This is just his fifth bout in the UFC, and the 27-year-old will search for a performance to push the rankings and become a contender at 19/20* with Mark Jarvis.

For Dober, his inconsistency since his UFC debut in 2013 has seen the Nebraskan fighter struggle to make the impact. After three losses and a no contest in his opening five UFC fights, Dober has gone 7-2, and is on a two-fight winning streak. He defeated Marco Polo Reyes and Nasrat Haqparast with his heavy hands in the first round. He is 5/6* with Mark Jarvis to be victorious.

Fight Winner tip – Hernandez 19/20*

Andrei Arlovski (BLR) vs Philipe Lins (BRA)

A former champion in Andrei Arlovski finds himself a spot on the card aged 41, and the active veteran will face UFC debutant Philipe Lins, who won all four of his Professional Fighters League bouts.

Belarusian Arlovski has just three wins in his last 13 bouts, and questions about his future with another defeat on his record could follow. He debuted at UFC 28 all the way back in 2000, going 10-4 and winning the Heavyweight title in 2005 until moving away from the UFC in 2008. He has suffered nine defeats since his UFC return in 2014, but “The Pit Bull” is 13/10* to win this bout.

Brazilian Lins begins his UFC career at the seasoned age of 34, meaning an immediate impact on the Heavyweight Division is crucial. Nicknamed “Monstro”, Lins suffered heavy injury setbacks that prevented him from entering the PFL and retaining his 2018 title. Nearly 17 months since his title win, Lins is 6/10* favourite with Mark Jarvis to hand another defeat to Arlovski.

Fighter Winner tip – Lins 6/10*
